Never would I have ever imagined that I would be one day living in Las Vegas and Los Angeles working as a Makeup Artist traveling all over the west coast, but here I am, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all the journey has brought me.
In 17 years as a makeup artist, I’ve seen the industry change and adjust as we all have changed and adjusted to life in our modern world. Here we are in 2020 making some of the biggest adjustments we’ve ever had to and will most likely continue to pivot, adapt and keep it moving. Life Demands it!
Now seemed like a good time to reintroduce me. Who am I? Nadia Shalini, local Las Vegas and Los Angeles Makeup Artist and Esthetician. I’ve had the pleasure of making over many faces all over LA and Las Vegas and for many occasions, from weddings to red carpets, to fight night at the MGM or in the MMA Octagon to the Oscars. All the while using so many amazing beauty care techniques, traditions and cosmetics products. It is truly one of my favorite aspects of what I do!
For someone like myself, this is part of the dream job. For many years, long before I worked as a makeup artist I was a simple consumer of all things cosmetic, personal care, and beauty related and Now I have the opportunity to share and showcase some of my favorite products and recommendation as a professional makeup artist and skincare specialist. I am also excited to share this platform with many talented artists and professionals I work with and have learned from over the years.
We are constantly searching, shopping, and seeking out unique and effective items to add to the repertoire of indulgence and personal care. I am also a very conscience consumer, you may notice that many of the brands we recommend and carry tend to be small businesses, privately owned, sustainable companies that are also conscious of their personal and business impact in our world and society.
